Dr. Lawhon always had a passion for pediatrics so upon her graduation from her pediatric residency she set out to open her own practice. She knew there was a need for an office in the ever growing Northeast Columbia area. With homes and businesses moving further toward the Summit, Sandhills, Blythewood, Pontiac there was a real shortage of Pediatric Dentists, a hole Dr. Lawhon is now filling. Dr. Lawhon built her practice literally from the ground up, with a lot and a floor plan she created a state of the art facility that is actually Fun for children. Her love for children is evident the first time you meet her, with a big smile and a caring attitude she will win you over from the first visit!

• is a native of Florence South Carolina. 
• Graduated from FMU in 1998.
• Graduated Dental School MUSC Charleston SC in 2002.
• Practiced four years in private practice in general dentistry, working at a children’s clinic and on a mobile unit traveling the state serving underprivileged children before retuning to school to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry.
• Graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a specialty in Pediatrics in 2008.
