We look forward to making each visit to Northeast Children’s Dentistry an enjoyable one for you seahorseand your child. When preparing for your visit, please bring the following items with you:
  • Childs parent or guardian
  • Form of Identification
  • Insurance Card
  • Any forms we mailed to you in advance (health and social history forms)

Please note that the person bringing your child to their visit at Northeast Children’s Dentistry must be authorized to do so. If another adult besides the legal guardian brings your child to their visit, that person must be authorized to give permission for treatment. So please ensure you have provided written authorization to our office in advance. We cannot provide treatment without prior permission.

 

your_first_visit

During your child’s first visit you will be able to watch your child from our consultation rooms that have one way glass looking out over our Hygine Bay. This special room is set aside for our new patients so they can observe and meet/interact with the dental assistants and Dentist.

The Dentist and dental assistant will review your child’s medical history and provide a comprehensive examination to include:

  • Evaluating your child’s oral hygiene
  • Teaching hygiene instruction
  • Taking necessary x-rays
  • Examining for any existing decay
  • Prophy- cleaning
  • Develop a treatment plan.
The doctor will explain, in detail, any treatment your child may need. We will then schedule an appointment for needed treatment or a 6-month follow-up visit. Expect about 45min-1hour for a first visit.
